Intercommon is a language spoken by various people across all of Tēbû. While somewhat difficult to learn, it is highly adaptable, a simplified form of Flightspeak. As a derivative of Flightspeak, the language involves making use of whatever forms of communication are available to the speaker, for example gestures, sounds, feelings, tastes, and smells. Learning Intercommon is less about learning how to speak it, and more about how to understand it, and much emphasis is placed on learning the instinctive "vibe" of a word, though even more emphasis is placed on the context and how to establish a context. Unlike Flightspeak, Intercommon can be learned without the aid of magic, though many employ magic to learn it. Many learn Intercommon if they plan to travel further than their own solar system.
