A spiderphant is a huge animal that resembles an elephant with eight legs and ten eyes, four of which are forward-facing. The spiderphant hunts live prey by chasing it into caves filled with webbing, which it produces from its trunk. As it extrudes its webbing, the deft tips of its trunk form it into nets, which it can then use to prevent escape if the prey tries to flee past it.

A spiderphant.

The origin of the spiderphant, which is endemic to Prin, is unknown. In fact, very little research has been made into their nature. What little information there is comes from witness accounts, including the tale of Lou Slakz.
